This place has changed over ship many times. Every time they change, it's the same; nothing changed. Food is the same, workers are the same, etc etc. WE still like coming here. They have tuna that we get many plates. They also have ramen noodles. At times, there are chocolate dipped strawberries that I look forward to. It's a great deal if you love sushis.

Tbh I only had the sushi, gyozas, udon, and dessert. I like that there's so many rolls of sushi to try from, so I tried about 8-10 different ones. They were alright but nothing really stuck out to me. The udon was above average, but I do like how you can put your own toppings on it. Gyozas were fried and were pretty good. Dessert... I had about 2 matcha ice cream cones and those were bomb. It was more sweet than regular matcha flavor. I also went ham on the chocolate covered strawberries that you do yourself. I can eat those all day long, so kudos to Onami for having that. I also tried some cakes, my favorite being the chocolate!

I so wanted to give Onami 5-STARS, but alas it wasn't in the stars.... LOL This was my first visit, our son loves it here & was dying to bring us to try "His" Sushi spot. Well it didn't disappoint. The sushi rolls were fresh & delicious, as was the Sashimi! There are plenty of food options and the ones we got taste were very tasty & fresh. The reason I took a star is for the poor group planning, they had a large party, VERY Large party that went to eat ALL at once! And there was just not enough food to accommodate the large party & the restaurant, so you just got stuck in lines waiting to try food. I think they just need better planning. We will be returning & keeping our fingers crossed there is no party!

Visiting in the area and since both Fuji & Benihana has so-so reviews, didn't want to pay a lot for sushi. Found this place within walking distance and decided to try their weekday lunch buffet for $15.99. Besides variety of sushi array, they also have udon noodle station with toppings and typical Chinese dishes as well as selected seafood. (We saw crab legs, fish & shrimp today) it's a buffet so we didn't need much service, but we were seated right away and every time you were done with your plates, they were quick to take them away. For the most part, sushi were fairly fresh although some were indeed rice-bombed. The inside is big with lots of seating options.

Flew my niece from Viva Las Vegas and gave her an oppurtunity to beacome an undercover yelper. Thoughts of a 17 year old... There was a very nice and broad selection of sushi. The display of it made the food appealing, not only was it visually satisfying, but it satisfied my taste buds. It is all seafood so if you're not interested in that, then you'd still have to go try the green tea ice cream. To make my experience at Onami more enjoyable it also helps that the employees were very nice and accomadating. Overall, it was a nice place to eat, good food and I had a great time with family and friends. 17 year old has a lot of thoughts...
